Assembly of interactive 3D simulation models – ‘Visualise before you Realise’

Realsim assemble 3D models using commercially available existing datasets or can create, obtain or update a dataset for customers.  The realism of our models is enhanced by high resolution ground and elevated photography. 

RealSim’s parent company AirShots has a range of innovative photography tools to acquire imagery anywhere from the ground up to 100m.  High resolution imagery can therefore be acquired from previously inaccessible areas. 

This also allows us to make line of sight comparisons between real-world views and the same view within a 3D model as a quality and accuracy check procedure.  Once a model is built any user can maintain or update their 3D environment using the Environment Editor.

Model Maintainance

The Realsim solution allows users to be self-sufficient in the maintenance of their 3D model.  With the use of the Environment Editor users can add further data and detail to their model as desired.  However if a client just wishes to use the 3D viewer package (the Simulator), Realsim can update your 3D model by inserting new 3D buildings or adding detail as required.  

Data Acquisition & Supply

Realsim models require commercially available survey data such as ortho-photography, 3D building shapes from photogrammetry or lidar and ground photography for photo-texturing and the modeling of detailed architectural elements.

Realsim have strategic relationships with several data suppliers and can acquire the required data for the assembly of a model.
